Join us for a beach cleanup to help keep our beautiful coastline pristine! 🏖️♻️

We’ll be cleaning up the beach and then staying for some fun beach activities afterward. It’s a perfect way to do something good for the environment while hanging out with friends! 🌊

What to bring:
Sunscreen & hat ☀️
Water bottle 💧
Comfortable clothes for cleaning
Snacks
Optional: picnic blanket & beach gear for after!

– When you enter Seacliff on State Park Drive, go up to the kiosk and inform them you’re with the AAC-NC Beach Clean up crew. They will either have a pass for the first 20 cars, or someone will be there to hand one to you. Leave pass on front left side of dashboard.

– Drive past the kiosk and turn right
– Follow the road until you reach a T-intersection stop sign
– Turn left at the intersection
– Follow the road until you see wooden stairs on the left-hand side
– Park on the right – there will also be picnic tables on the right

Parking Info:
There’s a $10 parking fee, BUT the first 20 cars get in FREE – so carpooling highly encouraged for guaranteed free parking! 🚗 We’ve created a community carpool coordination sheet (see link above) to help you connect with others in your area.

Rough Timeline:
11:00/11:15am: Beach cleanup starts
1:00-1:30 pm: Prayer
1:30 pm onward: Pizza & Games on the beach!

Additional Notes:
This event is family-friendly and all ages welcome.
